HE-AB Series of forced draft gas fired "flexible water tube" boilers.New High Efficiency Boilers From Bryan Steam

Bryan Steam has introduced the HE-AB Series of forced draft gas fired "Flexible Water Tube" Water Boilers with a guaranteed efficiency of 85%.  The high combustion efficiency results from a uniquely designed integrated extended surface heat extractor.  Along with other design characteristics these boilers feature 7 sq. ft. of heating surface per boiler horsepower.  They operate at normal operating temperatures, without need to provide for the expense or complications of special venting and/or condensing material.

Bryan's HE-AB Series is available in six models with inputs from 900 MBH to 3,000 MBH.  The Bryan “Flexible Water Tube” provides for extremely fast internal circulation for maximum heat transfer and operating efficiency.  The flexibility of the bent water tube design eliminates all possible damage from "Thermal Shock" and from stresses caused by poor or unequal internal circulation.  This is particularly important with forced hot water heating systems designed for higher temperatures and greater temperature drops.

Bryan Indirect Pool Heaters

Bryan Steam indirect pool heaters are suited for multi-purpose heating. They can be used for pool, space heating and snow melting.New brochure describes Bryan’s thirty standard models of “Flexible Water Tube” Indirect Pool Heaters with inputs from 350,000 to 8,000,000 BTUH, which will maintain desired temperatures in swimming pools from 16’ x 36’ to 100’ x 150’. Within this offering are atmospheric gas fired and forced draft gas, oil and dual-fuel fired heaters.

Heart of the Bryan Indirect Pool Heater is the all-copper Heat Exchanger which transfers heat from the hot primary water to the pool water as it flows through the exchanger. Since the exchanger coils are not subjected directly to the intense heat of the fire, but only to the hot water within the heater, there is no scale or corrosion problem.

The very concept of indirect heating assures improved performance and maintenance-free operation. Bryan Indirect Pool Heaters are also particularly suited for multi-purpose heating. For example a single unit can be used for pool heating and space heating; pool heating, domestic hot water and space heating; pool heating, space heating and snow melting.

Bryan Chemical Feed Systems

Bryan Steam offers chemical feed systems that condition water in the boiler and prevent premature system failure. Can be installed in new projects or field installation in existing boiler rooms.Bryan Steam is offering a series of Chemical Feed Systems which, in combination with a water meter, automatically feed proper chemicals to the make-up water for steam boilers. Use of the chemicals will correctly condition water in the boiler and prevent premature system failure due to poor water quality.

These systems are available with 30 to 100 gallons tank capacity, and with simplex or duplex pumps operating at rates from 1.8 GPH to 6 GPH, cover a multitude of boiler sizes from 5 HP to 2,000 HP.

Stainless steel chemical feed system shown, with optional control panel and duplex pump arrangement, is one of three models available including the standard polyethylene tank and carbon steel tank. Water meters are also available and are recommended to properly apply chemicals based on addition of make-up water.

Bryan Chemical Feed Systems can be installed for new projects or are available for field installation in existing boiler rooms.

Bryan Deaerators Designed for High Volume Usage

Bryan Separable Tank Tray Type Deaerators from Bryan Steam LLC, Peru, IN, are available in ten models with standard capacities ranging from 70,000 to 300,000 lb/hr (2030 to 8695 BHP). They are ideal for high volume installations. The deaerators pre-heat and deaerate boiler feedwater, improving system efficiency and reducing operating costs even where wide load swings occur.

Bryan separable tank tray type deaerators minimize the risk of thermal shock, reduce the chances of pressure drop and remove oxygen (to .005 cc/l) and carbon dioxide (to zero measurable). These non-condensable gases can inhibit heat transfer and corrode the boiler. The tray type deaerators also recycle steam, saving energy and reducing the amount of chemicals used for conditioning water.

Features include stainless steel internal surfaces wherever the deaerators come in contact with undeaerated water, easily accessible manways and access doors, standard 10 minute storage capacity, structural steel stand and pump platform. Other features include high/low alarms, modulating make-up water valve, pilot operated steam pressure reducing valve, manual vent valve with drilled orifice, relief valve and vacuum breaker.

Single or multiple boiler feed pumps and a wide variety of pump controls are available in factory prewired packages. Custom engineered systems are also available.

Bryan deaerators are constructed to ASME Section VIII, Div. 1, for 50 psig, 300°F standards and come complete with all standard accessories and trim.

Bryan RV Series Steam and Water Boilers

RV Series “flexible water tube” boilers from Bryan Steam.New brochure presents Bryan RV Series “Flexible Water Tube” Steam and Hot Water Boilers. They are forced draft gas, oil and dual fuel fired. Available in eight standard sizes from 3,500,000 to 8,000,000 BTUH.

The breakthrough in water tube boiler design that produced the RV Series provides operating efficiency so reliable Bryan guarantees it to be 84% for hot water boilers and 82% -15 psi/80% -150 psi or better for steam boilers. All models have at least five square feet of heating surface per boiler horsepower.

Bryan ’s exclusive “Flexible Water Tube” design eliminates the possibility of damage from so-called “thermal shock.” Tubes are easily individually replaceable without welding or rolling and there are never more than two tube configurations.

Combustion chamber, tubes and burner head are completely accessible from one side, simplifying maintenance and minimizing floor space. Only 32” are required for tube removal.
